This is largely due to the overwhelming amount of debt that most people are buried under. The worst part is the fact that for a lot of people debt really isn’t there fault. For example, in today’s society you really have to go to school to get a decent paying job; and for most people that requires student loans. Applying for a credit card is just asking for trouble. The best thing you can do for yourself is never spend money that you do not have. Most people start out responsibly with their credit card and only spend small amounts of money. However, there will come a time where you really want to buy something you cannot afford and decide you can just pay it back later by using your credit card.

Open a Saving‘s Account

Even if you can only afford to save a few dollars on each paycheck, that money will eventually add up. Even pennies in a jar add up if you wait long enough. It is always a good idea to have money put away in the event that an emergency should present itself.
